Yarn:Linie 149 Rush- Faded

Pattern: 93 Basic Braid from Vogue Knitting Stitchionary 2. I cast on 12 stitches and did a few rows of seed stitch before beginning the braid.

I found this yarn on sale at a local yarn shop, an thought it was so beautiful, but then again I love orange. I pondered for while what I was going to make out of it. I remembered seeing a scarf in the knit picks catalog that was just a cable, and decided to give it a try.

Baby Bolero

I made this Baby Bolero from 'One Skein' out of Patons Shetland Chunky Tweed yarn for a coworker. It was so quick and easy, I ended up making a second for my neighbor.

This was my first real seaming project. It was small enough that it wasn't overwhelming.
